Sketching

For the week of convocation, we were asked to sketch a photo which is related to the event. We were taught in the RUS101 lesson about golden angle and below is my sketching.
This was drew by me with free hand, not tracing.haha.. Although it doesn't look that nice, but at least i drew it myself and i will try to improve my sketching skill~

4-urbanity

Communication week. We were asked to form a group of 6 peoples to study about Penang Time Square and surroundings, space, form, node and path. For this assignment, we got a theme of oneness and unity. This is why Prof.Wan wants us to form a group of 6, aiming to let us learn how to work in team and communicate with each other. Communication plays a vital role in our life. Without a good skill in communicating we might face some difficulties in life such as misunderstanding, quarrel and so on. As everyone know, one’s power is limited, thus, we have to learn how to work among one another in order to be more powerful.

Huge space for us to organise the event. Just depend on us that how are we going to use it wisely.

Presentation for the 1st group. Brave enough to volunteer themselve, very good!haha.. Some other groups and mine didn't get to present ours on Monday lesson, so just wait and see what will we ask to do on Friday.

3c: 6-balloon black box

6-balloon bamboo box, sound so interesting but new for me. This box must be able to contain 6 standard size balloons, make in bamboo and recycle paper, light enough and can pass through usm bus’s door and can release the balloons one by one. Below, are those ingredients I used in making my bamboo black box (BBB).



This is my product from side view. The detail in making it will be further describe.

First, i went to "bengkel" with friends to borrow some tools to cut the bamboo as it is the main materials for the box.

After measuring the length which i wanted, the bamboos were cut into smaller piece. I used rope to tight its up to make its the sides of my box.

In order to make a strong base, i wet the new papers and stick its together with many layer.

And the picture shown below is colouring process.

Lastly, my box is in shape^^ this is top view

and this is front view. In order to release the ballon one by one, there are three interval, seperate by cards. The balloons will be released one by one by pulling out the card.

3B: Black Box

A sketch book is needed for this time. We are demanded to sketch black boxes as many as possible in our sketch book and choose some of the images to make a photocopy in order to paste on an A3 size paper.

Cutting the pictures i wanted to paste on the A3 paper and make a photocopy of it.

Last, everything is done with the washing of color water for my images.

For this assignment, i put something inside the box which is seen and unseen in order to show that what we cannot see doesn't mean that it is spaceless.

3A-Casket 4 Me

A casket for me, what a special assignment for us. Sketching and designing our own casket before we say good bye to this world. The casket we design should include the forllowing things, that are a casket for you and your 'sarung', how are you going to place in it, how are you going to be carried by six friends and what will it look like if it is make in bamboo.

Human Dimension

Monday, 2nd of August, we were requested to sketch our body dimension and cubes using free hand during our RUS101 lesson. Everyone have their own "jengkal", hence no one will get the same measurement for their body dimension.

Body dimension of 1:50 and 1:100. Its is not really accurate.
